BrewBlog: Citra at the Summit IIPA
Specifics
General Information
Method: Extract

Based on an IIPA recipe for Pink Skirt IPA, an IPA made once at Short's for a celebration of a brewing couple's wedding.  The original recipe and 1st two batches used summit and simcoe, this one uses summit and citra due to a shortage of simcoe.

Comments

I like it!  Lots of hop flavor.  14 days of dry hopping was unintentional, I dry hopped too early and had to wait for fermentation to finish. [and didn't think to rack to a 3° a week after dry hopping.]

I also forgot the pound of Munich Light LME I used the 1st two times I made this.
